When can LBG players hear some good news?

Already tried to get materials from coral pukei pukei but can’t get enough to make a recoil+reload equipment, just can’t defeat a 8 star monster with my 9-2 Legiana LBG.

This new equipment only helps Rathalos LBG to have lv 5 elemental damage, other LBGs still get stuck on the choice of equipment and useless ammo.

The movement on shooting a slicing ammo comes with so much delay, shoot and die, evade and timeout, impossible to defeat 8 star black diablo with a grade 8 Legiana LBG.

While others are having a good hunting experience with black diablo bow, not to mention how many WGS is required on changing other weapon.

It has been several months since the nerf on damage, the critical distance is punishing player on using mixed ammo LBG, wasting time on moving closer and away.

Very disappointed with this situation.

LBG was buffed in today’s update (v74.0).

Only details are added on the ammo, the situation isn’t changed on its damage or recoil in real hunt

  • Increased the SP gauge fill rate for Normal Ammo and Sticky Ammo.
    A: You still only get 1 shot charged in a single battle

  • Increased the buildup value affecting certain Status ailments and Part breaks for Sticky Ammo and Slicing Ammo.
    A: Part breaks doesn’t change the damage and to defeat a monster in 75 sec, you need to aim its weakness part, either wings or head or horns, no 2nd choice, shoot on other parts only get 50-60% in average.

  • Increased damage for Spread Ammo.
    A: the critical distance cut more than half of the damage on Spread ammo, it helps only if the player can get it within the range, you don’t have chance to get closer enough to Odogaron, Black Diablo, Coral Pukei Pukei or Zinogre with the recoil issue (shoot and die) most of the time

  • Increased the number of hits for Pierce Ammo. However, damage will decrease with each hit after a certain number.
    A: I tested the same weapon 9-4 Lumu Typhon with several 8 star monster, Rathian, Anjanath, Jyuratodus…etc., doesn’t look like a buff on the damage, before the update, pierce ammo will hit the head several times then to the body part (half of the first 3 hits), and now the damage after first 3 hits (around 300) on head then rapidly decrease (100 > 70 > 50) on the hit afterward

各武器ごとの反動・装填速度が公開されましたけど、ほぼ共通の設定値でボウガンごとの個性とまでは言えないレベルですね。かろうじてラグーナの徹甲榴弾、ガロンの貫通弾が例外的な設定値になっていますが。(ラグーナはマイナス設定ですけど…)
無属性ボウガン、又は低攻撃力を会心率でカバーするベリオロス武器は手数を稼ぎやすいように基本の反動・装填速度を軽く設定するなど、もっとボウガンごとの個性が生まれるような設定値を希望したいです。

今回の貫通弾のヒット増加で減衰仕様って実質ナーフじゃね?
要は減衰したダメージをヒット数増加部分でトントンかそれ以下のダメージにしたってこと?
そんな複雑な騙し方するなら今までのダメージ仕様のまま1ヒット追加で良かったのでは?

運営が数字でデータ比較出してこれだけ変わりました強くなりましたよってやらないと、貫通弾だけなんかナーフしたんじゃね?しかならん

YouTubeの検証動画では増えたヒット分が減衰ダメージになっているようでしたので、ダメージは純増かと。ただヒット間隔がどうなったかはよく分からなかったので、どれほどダメージが増えるかは不明です。

Reconsider it, it’s impossible to kill anything.
Why do LBG players are being punished on every update?
And for some reason gameplay became very very slow

Doesn’t feel any improvement on 9-4 Lumu Typhon and 9-2 Frost Blitz, still get very less room on hunting 8 star monster.

No mistake is allowed, the only way is to evade every attack from monster and still get spread ammo hitting within critical distance then step back to use pierce ammo and slicing ammo for aiming weakness part which is exhausting.

Part breaks adjustment only benefits Rathbuster, Frost Blitz is still a bad weapon to against ice weakness monster.

The situation doesn’t change, those battles I defeated I can defeat again, those timeouts still timeout, especially the ridiculous Black Diablo and Coral Pukei Pukei, blocking the access to new equipment and obtaining WGS.

・貫通弾についてはよいアップグレードと感じましたが、散弾については
方向違いなアップデートに感じました。
/I felt it was a good upgrade for penetrating bullets, but as for scatter bullets.
I felt like the update was in the wrong direction.

・ダメージではなく集弾率の低減及び有効距離の遠距離化を調整すべきと思います。/I think that adjustments should be made to reduce the collection rate and increase the effective distance, rather than the damage.

・また散弾は貫通弾以上に取り回しが悪く弱点フルHITはまずありえない(顔が小さい、イビルジョーのように必ず距離が出てしまう)結局散弾は使いづらいと考えます。
/Also, scatter bullets are harder to handle than penetrating bullets, and it is almost impossible to hit them with a full weak point (the face is small, and the distance will always come out like Evil Joe).In the end, I think that scatter bullets are difficult to use.

・さらに、弾数が少かったり、散弾で届かないの場合、任意でリロードする機能(タップアイコンの配置)などで対応するのも一つかと思います。
/Furthermore, if the number of bullets is low or the bullets cannot reach you, I think one way to deal with it would be to have an optional reload function (placement of tap icons).

・斬裂弾も肉質影響がひどく尻尾が切れるからと言って徹甲榴弾に比べると相当見劣りします。
/Slashing bullets are also considerably inferior to armor-piercing high-explosive bullets because they have a severe effect on the flesh and the tail can be cut off.

・反動軽減スキルによる発射速度のUP(通常弾が倍速で発射)やSP攻撃の反撃龍弾のカウンター効果など付け焼刃の調整よりしっかりと調整を行ってください。
/Please make more thorough adjustments than adjusting the stopgap, such as increasing the firing speed with the recoil reduction skill (normal bullets are fired at twice the speed) and the counter effect of the SP attack’s counterattack dragon bullet.

the buff does not help a lot
First, for partbreak, Zinogre head is so small and spread ammo only hit it’s head partially or miss some of the ammo or hit the side of monsters
Second, charge up SP gauge rate faster, but most of the time you are maintaining distance
Third, increase spread ammo damage, how much has increase? I see it still the same, does not make much different and you still need to repositioning yourself, and you need to become melee and range shooter alternatively

以前どうだったか記憶にないのですが、レウスバスターG6-2で☆8ドスジャグラスは倒せました。属強5積める火だからかも知れませんが、ライトボウガンを諦めてブロスボウに乗り換えた当時と比較すると強くなっている気がします。

I still cannot kill Zinogre, as his position will face his legs to you, you can only shoot it’s side. Even with this buff, it does not help much, damage are reduce due to non-weakness part, critical distance, and partial spread ammo miss

弱点の塊のようなドスジャグラスですから。弱点の小さいプケプケやクルルヤック、ジンオウガ相手だと貫通ヒット数増えた所で意味無いですし相手によるかも知れませんね。
