This has nothing to do with the image quality - I play the game in the lowest resolution from the start, I always download the assets after every update, but lag has been massive since V73/v74. The lags usually occur when the monster moves and you make a movement at the same time (attack, dodge).
Yes, this problem is new with a recent game update.
Using Galaxy S21+ on Medium settings, it is not a graphics or CPU hang.
Action just freezes entirely, like it’s waiting for the network.
I am getting such stutters too, but I’m on the 8GB model of the same phone as OP. I’m using the phone at the lowest screen resolution that can be set on the phone (1544x720), with the game graphics set to High.
Hi @Sparta4048 Sorry to hear that you are experiencing lag issues while slaying Monsters. If you haven’t already, please follow the steps provided in our Troubleshooting Guide to see if that helps: bit.ly/3uLOgcK
You may also follow the below steps to see how it goes:
Uninstall/reinstall the app from Play Store
Restart your device
Download all game assets before going for a Hunt
Toggle to a low graphic setting/try adjusting the graphics from the App Settings
If the issue continues, reach out to us via In-app support along with a screen recording of the issue so that we can take a closer look. Thanks!
I used to have some lags from some monsters (notably Banbaro, Radobaan (when too close) and Zinogre (too much particles)). But since the traker update, the lag spread to all monsters and became worst for the three noted before. I think there’s an optimization problem.
その他の情報/Other Information
I tried multiple solutions. I was already at low graphics, switching on/off 60 FPS doesn’t change anything, tried to download all assets (which may have helped for some little monsters, and just a little). Nothing helped.
Hi @Ledrert and @Einsyl. I’m sorry about the lag issues you’ve encountered with the app since the V75 update. It’s possible that your devices may not be compatible. Please check if your device meets our requirements by visiting this link: Supported Devices — Monster Hunter Now Help Center
Please consider using the app on another compatible device if it doesn’t meet the requirements.
Yes I am. I have 8 Go RAM, I wasn’t lagging like that before. I played since almost launch. I checked, it seems the requirements haven’t changed since.
Hi there, @Rurozan! I’m sorry to learn you’re experiencing issues with the latest update.
Could you please attempt the following steps first and check if the issue you’re describing persists:
Uninstall/reinstall Monster Hunter Now from the Play Store.
Restart the device.
Download all assets before hunting.
If the issue still exists, please open a ticket with our in-app support team from your app and share a screen recording or video of the app freezing or lagging.
It looks like many people have opened tickets with the in-app support team. I have also done that, and they responded with “the team is aware of this problem and working on it!”
So, if the team is aware of this problem and working on it, please open an official post inside the Known Issues section here where is the official acknowledgement?

I did what you proposed but i still have freezes. Like what you can see in the video (sec 3). And this fight was better than many others where i had many freezes like this one.
