Issue Details

Previously, the progress notifications for event quests, friend quests, and so on that appear at the top could be closed immediately by tapping them.
Currently, this is no longer possible.

Other Information

Restarting the app does not fix the issue.

@Oku2587
Thank you for reporting that some notifications can no longer be dismissed.

We would like to look into this issue in more detail, so please share the following information:

  • A screenshot showing the notifications that cannot be dismissed

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation.

The notifications in this area can no longer be dismissed by tapping.

Also, because of this, the Wide Area Map button on the map screen can’t be pressed until the notifications disappear, which is causing an issue.

Other

  • In-game notifications have been improved.
    • The display duration of notifications has been adjusted.
    • You can now swipe a notification upward to dismiss it.
    • Notifications that navigate to a screen when tapped and those that do not are now visually distinguished.

Looks like it’s been changed.
Doesn’t it disappear when you swipe up?

The quoted text says

You can now close it by swiping up

but in reality, it’s “You can now only close it by swiping up”

And in practice, the success rate is quite low, with the side effect that “if it fails on the field screen, the screen rotates.”
So I’d also like to have the original “tap to close” restored.

So it wasn’t just me who felt the responsiveness was sluggish. If it’s a bug, I’d like it reverted as well.

Reverting the change might be difficult, since it could also be a fix for the tap bug (where the top screen becomes unresponsive).

Since various controls could potentially be affected by the issue, it might be a good idea to describe them in more detail.

Would the request to switch back to tapping be better directed to the team handling improvements?

I just checked, and sure enough, it did close when I swiped up.

Or rather, what we’ve really done here is “made it so you can’t close it by tapping”…

Why did we turn this into such a downgrade?

You could just solve this by moving the display position down a little or reducing its vertical height.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot.
We will check this with the responsible team.

If we have any information to share, we will post an update in this forum, so please check back from time to time.
