Pyramid Pickup Monster Farming

Proposal/Suggestion

Since the previous season, tokens and a participation system have been added, enabling not only Link, Great Hunt, and Interception Battles, but also new multiplayer modes. While the benefits are significant, I feel the drawbacks have also grown. I believe this is due to adjustments in drop rates. Considering the previous drop rates, lowering them was inevitable, but as a result, hunts that yield no tangible rewards have become quite frequent.

Take the Subspecies of Tigrex, for example. From my personal experience, this monster was the most extreme. Even accounting for using the Carve Knife twice, I hunted it over 1,000 times without managing to collect all five parts for the Rank 8-5 armor set, and barely completed two weapons, only reaching three after 1,500 hunts. With the previous Legiana, I could have collected all five parts for the Rank 8-5 armor set and three weapons in 1,000 hunts without using the Carve Knife, and still had plenty of materials to spare.

Although opportunities are abundant, the feeling that drop rates have decreased is undeniable. This alone is still tolerable, but I am concerned about the situation with Mutation Materials. I cannot confirm for certain if they have decreased, but they certainly cannot be described as abundant. The rewards, which were already limited in where they could be obtained, remain almost the same as before, even though the number of hunts required has nearly doubled. I believe this aspect needs improvement.

There are many weapons, like the Pyramid ones, that are only used in Interception Battles and then discarded, yet you receive very few as quest rewards, and even paying for them doesn’t increase the amount significantly. Are we supposed to rely entirely on the Carve Knife? Furthermore, there is a severe shortage of “Dragon Stones.” I believe a drop rate boost for Dragon Orbs is necessary for at least one week during the Pyramid event. Just completing one weapon causes them to run out, and while Mutation Materials are scarce, you are left with no choice but to hoard Mutation Materials from other monsters.

Suggestions for improvement:

  • Introduce a drop rate boost for Pyramid Dragon Stones. I think implementing this in the second week would be ideal.

  • Increase the drop rate of Mutation Materials from the featured monsters during the event period.

  • If an Elder Dragon is the featured monster, I believe there should always be rewards in event quests.

Probably due to the translation, but what does the pyramid represent?

I have reposted this using a translation tool. I hope you will find it worthwhile to read.

I’m still not quite sure about the pyramid, but the main point is that you want to increase the drop rate for Rare 6 items, right?

Do you perhaps mean “period” (ピリオド, 마침표)?

That’s correct. I’ve fixed it.

I apologize for being persistent again.
I also think the title should be corrected.

With Lysexis timing, the drop rate for Noble Dragon Stones dropped extremely low and remained low even after reverting, so if you’re comparing it to Lysexis, Seleregios seems like a better fit, doesn’t it?
Since everyone’s personal experience varies, a proposal to increase the frequency of events with a 20% chance of dropping Rare 6 items in the 5th slot would likely gain more agreement.

I think that point is valid as well. By my standards, the Tobikagachi A-spec wasn’t any easier than the Selgios, since there were fewer of them. That compensation event didn’t go as smoothly as expected, so I’d really like to see it run more frequently.
