Optimizing Period Pickup Placement and Large-Scale Continuous Hunting Configuration

Proposal/Suggestion

Current Status and Issues: Monsters with low relevance to the week’s interception battles or period objectives (e.g., Jinrao Alpha, Velociprey, etc.) are crowding the pickup and large-scale hunting slots, hindering hunting efficiency. Additionally, the uncertainty of appearance rates during Ancient Dragon activation events and the lackluster rewards for period quests are lowering user motivation.

Improvement Requests:

Carefully restructure the lineup for pickups and large-scale hunts, focusing on the main compatible monsters for each week of the period (however, essential monsters such as Evil Joe and Basaltgius should be retained).

Guarantee appearance rates during Ancient Dragon activation events, or introduce a mechanism that allows users to select the Ancient Dragon they wish to encounter.

In the case of Barioth, there’s armor with the Ice Element Boost skill, so it’s not like they’re just spamming everything in long chains.
The same goes for the Zinogre Subspecies; it might not be in demand for me, but someone else definitely wants it.

If your goal is to strengthen Ice weapons, I think Go-Sha is a better fit. And if you’re hunting for armor, you don’t need to go all the way to the Great Hunt. Moreover, since it’s a Dimensional Shift monster, it’s quicker to capture and set up than usual. As for the Zinogre variant, it just looks bigger than the standard version, but the Great Hunt has been available since the start of the season.

Is this a bit of a one-sided opinion?
Since there are few pulls for Berioros itself, I’m simply happy with this banner.

I’ve put all my pulls into the Ancient Dragon Qurupec this time, so I haven’t done the Great Chain, but I’m crafting the Beriorance while hunting with randoms.
I think there’s a fair number of people trying to use their Hammer or Lance for the Great Chain, but what do you think?
Considering style changes, I imagine it’ll be tough for some people without the Great Chain.

Personally, I find both Evil and Bazel to be in the way because I’ve already finished crafting them.

On the other hand, I was glad to pick up Berioros since I wanted to fully upgrade the Light Bowgun.

Recently, early-dimensional mutation monsters like Jura, Gienna, and Volvo have been picked up, and this time it’s Bros and Berio. I think there are people who started this year, so I believe regular pickups are necessary.

That’s why I thought it was a shame; I wished they had included Velocipre weapons in the 30% Intercepting Bonus. We had Lance Don, Hammer Don, and Hunting Horn Don, all of them. Haha.

I’m holding my ground. I do sense that my opinion might come across as self-serving. Since it’s focused primarily on the final interception battle at the end of the period, I wrote this out of regret.

Since the monsters people want to fight vary from person to person, a one-size-fits-all setup can lead to dissatisfaction.
It would be great if users could choose their opponents.
For example, by breaking down the Monster Survey Pickups into more specific categories.
