This is my current app version. There are no further updates in the play store
Same as OP, updated and all asset downloaded, restarted game and phone.
Personally, first noticed this double pop of 6-4 error after the countdown finished for start of wave 2.
Hi there, I’m in Australia using iPhone. Having the same 6-4 error every time I open up base camp. Having latest update of app already.

Upon checking with the relevant team, we have confirmed that this is related to the following issue and our team is currently working on a fix.

探索拠点は、ピリオド中に削除が行われる可能性があります。以下に該当する場合、表彰式が再生できず表彰式で報酬を受け取ることができない不具合があります。
2,000拠点名声以上獲得し、かつピリオド終了時に最も拠点名声を獲得したのが削除された探索拠点だった場合
大量出現に参加した探索拠点が削除された場合
ステータス: 改善予定です。
また、ピリオド1において条件を満たしていたにも関わらず、探索拠点の削除により表彰式報酬を受け取れなかったユーザーの皆様には、後日、表彰式報酬の配布を予定しております。配布には3週間ほどお時間をいただく可能性があり、今しばらくお待ちいただけますようお願いいたします。ご迷惑をおかけし申し訳ございません。

Yeap. Still not fixed in v109
Can confirm this issue is still occuring in NZ on an Android phone.
How Niantic, it’s been more than 2 weeks now since the reported issue. Are there any updates?
Or are people from Australia and New Zealand at a disadvantage from the rest of the world?

According to the other post, this has been fixed and rewards have been distributed. However I’m sure I have earned enough base points but I haven’t received any in game rewards. Can Mod please check? Thankyou

Please note that the rewards are currently being distributed in batches, and it may take some time to receive. If you are unable to receive the rewards by the end of November, please contact us via in-app support so that we can investigate further.

Can you please explain how the rewards are being distributed? I just want to know what to look out for. I thought we need to access the base reward page to receive it? Has the problem been fixed? Now that the 2nd wave is complete, will the base still give network error in a few hours time when the new wave starts? Thanks.
