Thank you for your report.
If you were late in holding down the button for some reason, there may have been a brief gap.
However, if you are confident that you started holding down the button early enough but the issue still occurs frequently, please let us know so we can investigate further.

in the video, you can see there is a white dot show that my fingers movement, at this cast you can see the white dot already showed up after i performed a guard tackle, which means i’m ready to perform rage slash but still got knocked out.

I do already hold after I performed guard tackle you can see the white dot in the video the white dot is my finger movement

here is the example I succeed to use the rage slash. it is the same input as the zinogre video. you can check the white dot movement.

Hi, I don’t actively play Great Sword, but I’m curious about this issue.

Have you tried tanking a hit from other high-knockback attacks while charging the Rage Slash like this? For example, Deviljho’s body tackle, and Zinogre’s charged paw strikes?

Perhaps it’s a matter of knockback reduction, which makes Firm Foothold relevant when fighting monsters that have high knockback attacks?

here is the example I use rage slash to take the charge attack, just like normal tackle, rage slash can reduce the 50% damage and avoid any knock back, instead, the tackle can reduce 90% damage

@Stampeder

After checking with the development team, it appears there is a very brief window between Guard Tackle and Rage Slash, during which players may get knocked out.
So, this is intended behavior, but I’m sharing it as feedback.
