This is a score attack event, and the main source of tokens ought to come from getting high scores, not from participating in numerous base defense attempts.
I’m surprised that they even gave tokens, but I think keeping it at just 1 is enough so that we do not deviate from the point of the event: score attack.
Riftcharged Radobaan is also difficult to repel successfully (with 3 shield breaks) consistently. I know of players who did not realise that the featured Base Defense weapons have a bonus effect in breaking the monster’s dimensional barrier faster, and I wonder if this is the reason why there are not many players who are equipped with featured Base Defense weapons at the Exploration Bases that I frequent.
Also, Radobaan is significantly harder to damage consistently, compared to Rathian. Most of the featured base defense weapons for Riftcharged Radobaan also do not perform very well against it in the first place, and even fewer players have the featured base defense weapons. These reasons made this particular base defense not so enjoyable.
Radobaan also has a wide range of attacks that can damage the players easily and thus forces players to either improve their armour’s defense or buy potions, which I will do neither just for the sake of a single event.
I don’t want a Base Defense event where it becomes just another Outbreak event but at a phenomenally harder difficulty that’s borderline outright unpleasant. I would rather just do it once, do it good, and then ignore it for the rest of the week.
