I would like to see this too, where the loadout is remembered not just for the monster type but also the monster’s strength.
Right now, I use 1-2 loadouts for all monsters that are 7* and below, and the respective loadout for 8* monsters and above.
However, for example, assume that I have last hunted all the monsters with the respective loadout. Then, I arrive at a location where the monsters are all 7* and below, and I wanted to just use my Gunlance to hunt them all, but I keep having to change my loadout back to Gunlance whenever I tap into a different monster type.
To make things worse, now when I arrive at another location and all the monsters are 8* and above, I have to, again, painstakingly change the loadout for every different monster type from the Gunlance back to the respective loadout.
In general, the new feature has helped me cut down the number of times that I have to change my loadout manually, but so far it has only reduced by maybe 10% of the time? But in total, the number of times I have to change manually (because of the above scenarios) has increased more than before the implementation of the feature. This is counterproductive and counterintuitive to what this feature is meant for.
Please, include the Monster Strength into the remembering of the last used loadout, in addition to the Monster Type, so much so that it can achieve the following (as an example):
- 1* Kulu: Loadout 1
- 2* Kulu: Loadout 1
- 3* Kulu: Loadout 1
- 4* Kulu: Loadout 1
- 5* Kulu: Loadout 1
- 6* Kulu: Loadout 2
- 7* Kulu: Loadout 2
- 8* Kulu: Loadout 3
- 9* Kulu: Loadout 3
- 10* Kulu: Loadout 3
The above is just an example of loadout usage against a monster of different strength. If I were to use an entirely different loadout for each strength level of a monster, the feature should be able to support that, instead of going by some arbitrary rule of “Use this loadout for monsters below 8*, and use that loadout for monsters 8* and above”. Saving the last used loadout for every combination of Monster Type and Monster Strength should be the minimum design standard for such “last used” features.
