SnS jumping attack is quite similar to other weapon with similar skyward move, it needs good timing, or the monster can easily evade it by flipping, jumping, rolling, etc. even when the monster fell over and rolled.
DB basic attacks are low in damage, and its damage source are mainly from Demon Mode and SP, which are limited use.
I haven’t tried DB, so I can’t comment much, but for easier gameplay, I don’t mind increasing their damage output.
