Please bring back the previous dimensional link range or perhaps set it so that it’s only a smaller range if another hunter is nearby. Even within big cities in the US it is uncommon to find a local hunt, and so the reason to reduce the range isn’t as well reasoned. If you look at the US metrics I’m sure you will see people aren’t passing up local hunts for DLs, and the additional range in DL hunts was so good and healthy for the community.
The additional range is really appreciated in the Us where the distances are much wider. I’ve had more fun the last week and enjoyed my time so much more with the expanded DL range than I had any event previously since the online matchmaking in HATs.
Please return the old DL size, or set it so it’s only the smaller circle if there is a nearby hunter.
Please consider revising this change. The expanded DL size has been a godsend for suburban and rural players…
Please at least set it so that it is only the smaller circle IF there is a nearby hunter. Many places in the US I can go weeks without getting near another Hunter.
The expanded range was so great for morale… Even more than the hugely popular HAT matchmaking.
This is a great team game! Make it easier for us to play together. Expand the range!
I had intended to buy the next season pass when it became available. As a result of this change and the disregard for the feelings of the players I refuse to spend another dime. What a waste of goodwill.
When it first released, DL is by far the best update ever, but since the latest Server update to make it smaller in range, it become useless. Please make the range like before.
add: I remember Niantic always says to try to improve the possibility of player to get rare items such as R6 materials, and now you already give us the right solution for exactly that and then you take it away?
I started playing MHN as a solo hunter as hunters are rare here. Until the HAT was introduced. When the DL was launched, it was a great gift. It was one of features that reminded me that I wasn’t playing an offline game. I don’t care much about hunting normal permanent monsters but the notification to join a hunt makes the game lively. It is, however, now ruined. Niantic’d better terminate it as it hurts a lot to see how the DL is now. Also, I hope that Niantic’ll carefully do their research before launching any new features so that there won’t be a sudden hard nerf like this.
The reduction of distance for the newly released dimensional rift feature is one of the worst decisions you have made thus far. This feature may not exist at all now. Please revert the nerf of the range.
