I’m experiencing the same bug when tracking Black Diablos. It’s my first tracked monster of the day and I was around 4/6 on the progress and haven’t hunted a single tracker yet. Some time within the last hour (14:00-15:00 UTC) is when the bug occurred.
It seems that if you were tracking a subspecies when the Anniversary Event ended, your Palico immediately becomes tired for the day. It should have reverted to maybe no monster being tracked but with an option to select, if the hunter had not reached 5 monsters tracked yet.
Me too, I went hunting with my friends, and one of them loses 2 of them the first day, and 1 today. And I didn’t have bug before, but all of me and my friends loses the last one today. Please refund all of the black Diablos as well as refunding all of the materials x5 for each black Diablos(including rare 6)
Same issue. Black diablos was my tracked monster. Fix this today or ill just leave the game off since im not gonna get the most of my experiences and time. I’ll play else where for time being. Please fix soon thanks
Losing them during the first day most likely isn’t this bug, this bug occurred today when the event ended I believe, you may want to create a separate as it is probably a different problem
Like everybody else here. I got to hunt only 1 track monster today. The 2nd one never appeared and Palice is tired. Can Niantic look into this and give us another day to hunt before this ends.
End of event ruined my palico paint ball. I have only hunted a few monsters before the event ended and now the palico is “tiered” hopefully it is reset tomorrow but it have just made me change monster instead of locking me out of tracking monsters
I had exactly the same. Palico “tired” and unusable after completing the nine large monsters hunted to get my second Black Diablos. So I got the first, after six hunts, but then after nine hunts, the tracker was over. And the event ended at 16:00 instead of midnight, so could not use the tracker again for a further THIRTEEN HOURS! (16:00 to 05:00).
At a minimum, the tracker should have acknowledged my nine hunts to unlock the next monster, let me hunt my Black Diablos and then said “tracked monster no longer available due to end of special event, choose another” and then let me choose another monster. Resetting, of course, to the 3-6-9-12-20 sequence, not remaining with the 6-9-12-20-20 sequence.
We have confirmed that there was an issue where the Monster Tracker could not be used from the end of the event until 5 AM the following day if you had set a monster that could only be specified during the event period. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
