Riftscales are currently extremely rare, and there is currently no way to switch between styles and enhancements without paying the full price every time. It is extremely limiting to have to fully commit to one style or enhancement every time we choose one. Once we unlock a style, we should be able to permanently switch between the two. And same goes for enhancements. I would even be willing to accept having to pay the full cost to permanently unlock one style, but you have to pay for the other as well. But after buying both you can switch between the two whenever you want. I would love to see styles tied to our loadouts, so that we can have multiple builds for the same weapon depending on the style we have selected.

Monster hunter is all about customization. Enhancements and styles are a great way to customize our play experience, but not being able to switch between enhancements is a major flaw. We can remove styles from our weapon, but that does not refund the cost, and we have to pay the full price if we change our minds later.

Style costumization has been a great addition to the game that introduced more flexibility to our gameplay but sadly the farming process and the way to upgrade the weapons makes it annoying to get into.
First it’s not explained properly if “removing” the purchased style would make you lose it permanently and need to buy it again or if it’s a toggle on and off. It would be better if it’s just a one time purchase for each style instead of needing to use materials each time you want to switch to another style or use the vanilla attacks. Again the tool tips wording needs to be more precise in this instance.
Second: we should have a tier purchase when it comes to tiers (10,15,20) instead of options inside said tiers, it’s fine if the Devs would need to up the material cost but buying options inside a tier then needing to buy them again if you want to choose another option is too much of a hassle, players will just buy one Stat option and never check it again which would make experimenting with builds non existent, buying a full tier will make it much more flexible for players to try different stats without the fear of losing their purchased sub tiers as it currently is, tldr the upgrade system as is now feels rigid and unforgiving which is a big bummer since it has introduced more depth to our builds. On a side note This will also open avenues for players to create a community of “build enthusiasts”

The upgrade system for styles feels rigid and unforgiving, it’s a daunting prospect to get into due to the amount of materials needed if somone wants to try different stats and experiment with different builds.
