Start a solo hunt against a Glavenus of any strength while using a weapon that can deal severing damage.
During the hunt, wait for Glavenus to perform the tail swipe/chop that will cause its tail to heat up and become severable.
Deal severing damage to sever the tail
Observe that despite dealing enough damage to the tail, the tail doesn’t break immediately upon the hit that would break it.
A moment later, the tail breaks on its own, and there is no break slowmo for the player.
Expected
In the past, the same steps would see the tail break immediately with the partbreak slowmo sequence for the player that broke the tail. This ought to continue.
Notes
I have yet to try breaking the tail at other times while playing solo. But I know this happens when it does its tail chop from either side and I deal enough severing damage to sever it.
