I LOVE Water strike! It makes Hammer feel so fresh to play. Only problem is that the water strike style makes the base hammer feel so gimped comparatively. The water strike style already has the crazy spin on the charge 3, that it wouldn’t feel like its losing anything if water strike was given to all movesets. If water strike was added to base moveset, each of the styles would have a different water strike charge attack, which would be interesting. Base moveset would go straight to the overhead smash, spinning bludgeon would start the spin, and impact crater would of course go into impact crater, which would be awesome. Giving water strike to each style would still add a new element of variation to the weapon, which i find very interesting as a long time hammer lover.
現状/Current Status
Base hammer moveset feels strictly worse than the water strike style. The crazy spin on water strike is already enticing enough to warrant picking it, so the water strike can be added to the base moveset pretty safely.
