Adventure sync stopped working after I changed from an iPhone 13 Pro Max (iOS 17.7) to an iPhone 16 Pro Max (iOS 18.0.1) since 28th October. Driftmelt, paintball and Palico Bag have not been picking up if the game is not active (not even when the screen is locked/on sleep. Attached the screenshots on the current settings, which is the same as in my previous phone.

None of these are solving the issue:

  • Restarting the app
  • Reinstalling the app
  • Restarting device
  • Updating OS (iOS 18.0.1 > iOS 18.1)
  • Relogin

Please know that if your device is in power saving mode or bandwidth restrictions are enabled, it may disable the sensor required for Adventure Sync, which may stop this feature. If it does not work properly, disable the power saving mode on your device or contact your carrier. Turn off power saving mode in individual app settings as well.

I have double-checked my low data and battery saving settings. I have not changed my carrier or SIM card since my last device. It is still not working.

Thank you for trying out the troubleshooting steps.

Adventure Sync may not work if you are traveling too fast. Also, the app may not determine your precise location if you are moving in a small area.

Please consider contacting your carrier for further assistance if the issue persists even after checking the above.
