After starting the hunt, the field turned completely white, and even though I wasn’t using gyro, the camera didn’t work properly either (couldn’t keep the monster centered).
Even without restarting, no issues occurred with other monsters.

In the meantime, as a temporary measure, here are some basic troubleshooting steps. Please try them in order:
・ Download assets from within the app
・ Restart the app / device
・ Clear cache (Android devices only)
・ Reinstall the app
