There’s no Sharpness mechanism in this game, therefore whether a melee attack bounces off a hard part of the monster is simplified and cannot be compared with the main titles.
I am not “making decisions” nor “judging things on our own”. It is what it is, and I’m merely reiterating that point: there’s simply no sharpness in this game.
To assume that a particular weapon has a sharpness because of prior experience with the same weapon from another game is “judging things on our own”.
It’s okay! I understand where you’re coming from. My reply was a little inappropriate too—I had quite a few things on my mind just now, and I apologise for my tart replies.
I stopped playing Monster Hunter at the PSP versions, so I don’t have enough working knowledge of how the new weapons added since the PSP Monster Hunter games work, and I am just basing my response on what I understand about this game and its current mechanisms.
