問題の詳細/Issue Details
Occasionally when doing friend link group hunts, I am positioned at the far edge of the hunt boundary instead of in front of the monster.
その他の情報/Other Information
This has happened twice in the last couple of weeks. The other players are positioned in front of the monster like normal but I’m way out there and have to run half the diameter of the hunt area to even start doing damage to the monster.
@gozersmom
Thank you for your report regarding the issue you experienced when joining friend links.
If the issue occurs again, could you provide the following information for further investigation?
- Video of the issue
- Steps to Reproduce: Are there any specific steps or conditions you noticed that might trigger this? (e.g., specific monsters or Elder Dragons, occurs when joining friend links from the hunting lobby, etc.)
- Anything else you noticed about the issue
Thank you for your understanding.
I had this happen just now with a Hunt with Nearby (not friend link) 9* Riftborne Anjanath. I got a screenshot of the start where I’m way over at the edge of the map and the Anjanath is far away. I didn’t get a video though, sorry. The screenshot shows the other player near me, but he says he started in front of the monster as usual.
@gozersmom
Thank you for the quick update and sharing the details.
The information you have provided has been shared with the development team for further investigation. Since the exact trigger conditions are still unclear at this moment, we are continuing to monitor the situation. If you notice anything else, please feel free to reach out and let us know.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Just to add an additional bit of information: this has only happened to me when I’m on Wi-Fi. I know that of the two Wi-Fi networks I connect to, one tends to give network errors when hunting with others. I don’t remember which Wi-Fi network I was on when this problem happened.
This has happened a few other times since and I’ve been on the “good” wifi network that doesn’t drop. I saw some people reported this issue in a Reddit thread.
