My phone just received an operating system update to Android 16 and OneUI 8.0. I completed the update about 3 hours ago. After that, I launched the game and discovered that there was no vibration at all.
Vibrations were working fine before the system update.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and checked the settings but it is still the same.
I tried installing Pokémon Go and there was a vibration when a Pokémon appears within range, but I’m not sure what other vibrations are there as I don’t play this game. I also tried Ingress and there were the usual vibrations as I recalled from the last time I played it (which is many years ago).
System vibrations are working fine as well. Diagnostics returned no problems with all functions, including vibrations.
However, for MHNow, the vibrations are gone entirely after the system update.
Please advise.

Hi @NianticModKIC,
Thank you! I hope this can be fixed as soon as possible. The vibrations is the haptic feedback for me and it is an important source of feedback for me. Playing without vibrations is a handicap for me and I cannot play the game without sound this way because I would otherwise not be able to tell how my attacks are doing, especially when they occur off-screen or is obscured by the monster, other players, or by visual effects. My sight is focused on monitoring the monster’s movements and my hunter’s movements, and when playing ranged weapons, also the aiming of where the projectile will go. I have no spare moment and processing capacity to look for and count the damage numbers for the hits visually. It’s like trying to perform a hunt in real life but you have no sense of touch and have no idea how heavy a swing since you can no longer sense pressure with the skin.
This makes it really difficult when playing outside where you cannot play with audio to compensate for the loss of haptic feedback. And I don’t want to play with earphones since that will just make it unsafe for the player as it blocks out the sounds from the surroundings and make it not possible to hear and react to incoming dangers (just like you can’t hear incoming unseen dangers in the game when playing without audio).
Now I have to pay even greater attention to the game visually. Even if I am standing still in a relatively safe space, I would still have lesser capacity to look out for incoming unforeseen dangers from the surrounding because I have to pay extra attention to the game.
Please consider this a matter of player’s personal safety and prioritise it as such.
Hi,
The vibrations are still not working in the latest v111.0-251203-1244.
