Improve the visibility of lockable body parts on the monster

現状/Current Status

Currently, the icon that appears on the monster’s body part has low visibility when hunting monsters that are generally paler or has white body parts, and also in the Tundra habitat or with snow as the terrain in the arena, such as Khezu, Barioth, and Lunagaron.

The white circles are difficult to perceive easily during the heat of the hunt, especially against fast-moving monsters like Barioth and Lunagaron.

Often, when I thought that I had tapped on the forelegs, the locked-on part was actually the hindleg.

It’s very difficult to use the Lock On function like this.

Playing the new Lance styles where I’m mostly seeing the monster head-on makes it even more painfully obvious that the current Lock On selection system is lacking.

提案/Suggestion

Please improve the visibility of the body part markers.

Some suggestions from me are:

  1. For the forelegs and hindlegs, move the marker further out to the paws/foot, not in the middle of the body part. This will help to seperate the leg markers from the head/tail markers when viewing the monster head/tail-on.
  2. Use the same kind of coloured marker as the locked-on body part instead of the existing pale/grey marker, but change to a different colour instead, such as green or bright orange, and give it a dark shadow so that it can contrast against monsters of any colour scheme. The red locked-on marker can remain as it is.
  3. When tapping on the screen for a body part, consider the marker that’s the closest to the location being tapped in terms of the marker’s and finger’s location on the screen. For example, if there are two markers o----o and I tapped o-X--o, it should register that I’m trying to lock on to the left marker instead of the right marker. I know different players will have different preferences, but without a significant overhaul of the locking system, I think this would be easier to implement by reading the location of the markers on the screen with reference to the location of the taps. If the tap is on other parts of the UI or is a hold or nowhere near a marker, do not activate this “smart selection” logic. For example, if I tapped o----o X instead, it should not register that I’m trying to tap the right marker. It’s just too far off.

Please consider.
