Since v75.0, the FPS is (seemingly at random) being limited to 15/30 on map/hunt as opposed to intended 30/60. Restarting/force closing + clearing cache doesn’t help, it will just switch between the two “randomly” during gameplay.

Works fine on my iOS device, worked fine on v74.1
Hi @Velcorn Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing FPS issues after the recent update (V75). Please follow the steps provided in our Trouble Shooting Guide and see if that helps: bit.ly/3uLOgcK
If the issue continues, try the below steps to see how it goes:
- Uninstall/reinstall the app from Play Store
- Restart your device
- Download all game assets before going for a Hunt
- Toggle to a low graphic setting/try adjusting the graphics from the App Settings
Let us know if the issue persists!
Hey, thank you for the answer.
Unfortunately, I’ve tried all the common fixes to no avail. Having assets downloaded makes no difference and neither does the graphic setting. Like I’ve described, it seems to be an arbitrary trigger, hard-limiting the FPS of the game irregardless of performance. Having the newest phone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 12 GB of RAM makes this especially frustrating when performance lags behind my iPhone 12 Mini where it runs flawlessly or at least at the same level as v74.1. Another user with a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and even an iPhone 12 Pro Max user have described a similar problem, so it doesn’t appear to be limited to Android, but rather device and platform agnostic. Attached, you can find short video clips of the game running normally at 30/60 FPS and 15/30 FPS recorded at different times, because I’ve unfortunately been unable to catch the transition from one to the other. I’ve enabled the FPS counter so it’s easier to distinguish as obviously it’s not that noticeable on video as it is on a 120 Hz screen during gameplay. Hi again @Velcorn Sorry to know that the above steps did not help you fix the issue. However, we appreciate you trying and reaching out with more information. We’d like to let you know that our team is currently looking into this issue. Please stay tuned for more updates in this regard.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Thanks for the update. What I’ve found is that setting my phone’s screen refresh rate to auto or directly limiting it to 60 as opposed to having it at 120 seems to make the issue disappear or at least occur less frequently. Might be a coincidence, but just in case anyone else is reading this and wants give it a try before a fix comes along.
