Mention in the Hunter Guide that it is dealing a percentage of the hp at least
現状/Current Status
Attached is the screenshot of the blast information and it didn’t mention that it deals damage based on the monster’s maximum hp.
Now for context agane 
. I scrapped blast totally and wanted to focus on elemental DB. I first realized what boosted meant and tried the Stygian set (except Deviljho coil to enable adv dragon atk) with Malzeno. I surprisingly didn’t get hit once and got all the materials for at least forging the G6 armor that I need (beginner’s luck ). After failing the 1st hunt due to out if time, the 2nd hunt was pretty flawless if I may say so myself and I might have even severed the tail. Carried my weight I suppose. So I stopped the greed there because I’m essentially fighting an 8
elder dragon with G9 weapon which is pretty bad. And then I noticed Bazelgeuse weapons are boosted as well. So, I forged the Bazel DB, reused my crit fero build and immediately tried on Stygian Zinogre Hunt-a-thon. It was hellah good. I was seeing like 5k damages on my screen and I’m a DB hunter . I then googled that it deals percentage of the monster’s hp which is crazy. The weakness doesn’t matter it seems. Hunt-a-thons include monsters that have fixed hp as if there were 4 hunters who joined. Imagine the amount of hp and potential blast damage. So I completed a few SZ hunt-a-thons flawlessly after forging a Teostra Cocoon which I btw flawlessly slayed two times with my Crit Elem Almudron DB together with global hunters ofc (tad bit carried still ). But today was the turning point of getting probably unlucky with the blast procs because I only have 1 teostra armor equipped. So I’m planning to forge teostra mail and keep my driftsmelted raw power in Glavenus Helm reused in the blast build. Hopefully, I get more consistent blast procs and probably do better dodges to avoid the lingering dracophage crimson lightnings of SZ. Like when SZ goes crazy, I usually side evade for days to avoid everything . Not to mention I offloaded all my Bazelgeuse scales due to over-encumbered inventory. It was a bummer so I decided to buy the season pass to compensate . It was a two birds in one stone because I badly needed ultra hunting ticket and armor refining parts to speed things up. Hopefully, my last spend for this game . Last but not the least, I figure my older post was related to me being boosted by global hunters and now the devs seem to be boosting us hunters
