Trial Quests Scale High Too Quickly

Anyone else feel like the Trial Quests get too hard too fast?

I’m rank 150 with several 9* weapons and a few 10* weapons.

The Trial Quests start at 6* monsters, which is fine, I guess, if you aren’t a new player, but very quickly rank up to 9*.

Now I can kill quite a few of the 9* monsters but certainly not with specific weapons or under 50 seconds.

Even worse, there are quite a few I cannot kill at all within the time limits. They can’t kill me either but there just isn’t enough time, even with a 10* weapon in the element they are weak against.

So with my 10* gear, after 2 years of playing, I’m only able to get to like 55 of 100 in the Trial Quests. It’s good to have end-game stuff for long time players to do, but this seems like it’s entirely impossible for 90% of player ability.

Any suggestions to get higher in the Trial when your 10* elemental weapons with elemental gear aren’t enough?

I just became HR300 last week and my trial is 99/100, which is only 10* silver rathalos left.

I assume that you are stack at 9* Zinogre since you said you’ve done till 55 right? From that floor, I highly suggest to use valor build just because valor works against rest of the 9* except gold rathian.

Bazel torso and legs, also chameleos arm is new option for this build. Also, valor has perfect synergy with critical and critical ferocity armor set. Just for the future reference, that fighting sprit/SP PB driftmeld and all critical skills in one drift stones coming back on climax event.

Elemental build buffing like appx 650-750(500x1.3~1.5)attack depending on how the element is vulnerable to a monster.
Valor giving you solid 1000 and refill SP gauge till full. If you proc SP right before monster’s roar, your first SP buffed with this attack bonus and your another round of SP is ready to go.
Spamming SP let you ignore what monsters doing and it’ll be a significant source to higher DPS.
