There needs to be an “are you sure” message, with an explanation that you cannot make further changes for 30 days, when you are changing your displayed name.
A few days ago I changed my displayed name to add “HR250” after my player name. However, in my first HAT I realized that my new longer display name was not visible, only “hacman87HR”, which made the change entirely worthless. I then tried to change it myself and got a message that I could not change it myself for another 30 days. I then contacted support and asked them to change it for me, from “hacman87HR250” to “HR250hacman87”, but I just got the reply “it appears that you have just changed your displayed name and our terms of use only permit the changing of the displayed name every 30 days”. Great.
Given that you are warned to “find a safe place” before EVERY SINGLE SOLO HUNT, and that when you want to downgrade your story level, you have to wait 10 seconds and then confirm a second time, and that it certainly does not take 30 days to run through the story, for something for which you have to wait 30 days before making any further changes, there needs to be an even bigger warning than for downgrading the story.
Or else, permit support to provide support to players that have fallen foul of this trap.
Or else change the screen layouts, so that longer names do not get truncated. There is no point in allowing players to have display names up to 30 characters in length if only the first 10 get displayed.

Can only change displayed name after 30 days and support will not help with name changes.
