Problem description: When scanning a QR code in-game with the camera enabled, the image is stretched (see attached image), although it still scans successfully eventually.
The attached image shows an iPhone 8 Plus, where the image is clearly stretched.

Thank you for your report about the issue with the QR code.
We must inform you that the iPhone 8 Plus is currently not a supported device for Monster Hunter Now. Please know that certain features may not function correctly since it falls outside of our supported specifications. For further information about supported devices, please check our FAQ.
You misunderstood.
The device I’m actually using (where the issue occurred) is a realme GT 7 Pro / Android 16.
I was taking a picture of an iPhone 8 Plus.
You can see that the iPhone 8 Plus in the QR code screenshot is clearly stretched…
@Borise1398
Thank you for clarifying the situation.
As mentioned, iPhone 8 Plus is outside of our supported specifications, so the game may not display the QR code screen correctly on that device, causing the QR code image itself to be generated in a stretched format.
Please note that we are generally unable to provide individual troubleshooting or guaranteed fixes for devices that are no longer supported. We truly appreciate your understanding regarding this.
You still misunderstood me.
Let me rephrase my actions:
I used a realme GT 7 Pro / Android 16 and enabled the QR code scanning function in the game.
I placed an iPhone 8 Plus on the table as the subject for the photo.
You can see a screenshot of the in-game QR code window on my realme GT 7 Pro (attached).
The entire iPhone 8 Plus in the screenshot is stretched…
@Borise1398
Thank you so much for your reply, and please accept our sincerest apologies for our continued misunderstanding. We completely understand your situation now, and we truly appreciate your patience in explaining it to us so clearly.
To help our development team investigate and resolve this compatibility issue, could you please take a photo of the same setup using your phone’s default camera app and send it to us? This will provide a helpful baseline for comparison.
This was taken from a similar angle using the phone’s (realme GT 7 Pro) native camera (not triggered by the in-game interface).
@Borise1398
Thank you for your response.
The information you have provided has been shared with the development team for further investigation. If there is any additional information we can share on this, we’ll do so on this thread.
Additionally, as this could potentially be an issue rooted in the device’s system behavior or OS compatibility itself, we would highly appreciate it if you could also contact the device manufacturer when you have some time.
