I arrived at the Outbreak, joined it, it showed “Start, target monsters 100” or whatever the exact wording, then the phone became unresponsive. I restarted the app and now it will not let me join.
My son and I are having the same issue. We tried to join and ended up with the Network Error [6-3] message. Restarting the app has not cleared up the issue.
We can interact with the rest of the game normally, but tapping on the Outbreak site or button on the right of the screen just gives the error.
My wife and I had no trouble joining the first and only local outbreak spot (a public park) - we’re on iPhones 14 and 13. Our problem is that we appear to be the only players in this small rural Texas town if about 3,000 people. We were the only people at the park; nobody else joined us the whole time. We fought about a dozen Black Diabloses but only slew 5 each because 8 star is tough for just us two. The important lesson learned: we’re probably the only players in this whole town. We’re in our 70s btw.
I’ll be 60 in a couple of months time.

I have done this, but exactly the same has happened again today.
All three of us are unable to join the outbreak.
