Suggestion

Current Status

Almost everyone asked you to upgrade the armors to G10 but ignored the total cost, especially armors for all elements.

I still remembered in early version of App, there is “Recommended defense value” shown before hunting and 700 are higher than recommended value of 9-star monsters.

But now, the damage multiplier of monsters are modified to “extreme high” and only G10 armors can take it. Also, the actions of new monsters are designed for “earn the profit from buying poison” and just like garbage.

There is no surprise that no profit growing in this game, if their policy kept the same.

I agree, at the very least the cost to upgrade armor to grade 10 should be reduced. Right now it takes far too many rare materials to upgrade a piece of armor to grade 10 , its very hard to have both your armor and weapons to grade 10, I barely get enough to upgrade one type of weapon to max and now we have to use the extra materials to max out the rift ranks to get the most out of the weapon, theres not enough parts for armor too.

Either lower the cost to upgrade armor or make monsters hit for less so grade 8 armor can take a couple of hits. Its even harder to do this once the monster event ends. So going back trying to get mats from a monster who’s event ended is near impossible.

It’s tough, but you’re right.

I’m crafting it, but I want to equip damage gear, you know?

When it’s a weapon you’ve just started using, it inevitably ends up around 700, doesn’t it? When you want to hunt with a different weapon for a change, getting one-shot and having to drink a potion is…

If you drink a potion and hunt at around 50 HP, wouldn’t you die most of the time?

Almost there. With 840 defense, you can manage up to ★9.

With 950, you can even manage ★10.

It might be overkill, but

I’d be glad if they lowered the recommended defense by 50 across the board.

For 10★, at around 950 defense you’re finally at about recommended defense +100 and take damage equal to the base motion value, but

once you drop below 850, you take more than double the damage.

With weapons power creeping, you can easily unlock 10★, but

apparently it’s quite tough for casual players to get above 850 due to the Refining Parts issue.

Besides, if anything higher than 10 comes out,

even with 950 defense, you could end up getting one-shot by an attack with a motion value of 50.

If you try out new gear when you have 10 or more First-aid Meds from playing in your usual hunting gear, you won’t use any Potions.

As long as you put in the effort and find ways not to die, you’ll be fine!

Increasing your defense or stacking counter skills
leads to increasing the mistakes you can afford to make.
Since human concentration has its limits,
I think you need to find ways to focus only on moments where fatal, must-avoid mistakes could happen,
and not expend your concentration on other mistakes you can afford.

Besides, I think buying refining parts is more cost-effective than buying potions.
