Today, I updated the game to version 89.0 and the text problem still persists. There’s have been 4 updates since v86.0, where the problem started, and no fix at all. The response has been really slow, more than a month ago the issue showed up and was brought to the forum and we are not certain it is going to get fixed at any point.

@NianticModKKI We know you’re a Niantic moderator and don’t have any direct involvement with the game development, but do you have any updates from the dev team? Thanks a bunch.

It has been 4 months with this very same issue and without solution or any progress from Niantic, it looks like this problem isn’t important for you.

We’re at version 92.0, 3 major updates since the last time without any difference about the issue, it has been supposedly reported to the dev team but in 3 months anything hasn’t change.

I want to get fully invested in the game, but I can’t keep playing blindly, I have no idea what the story is, I can’t read monster descriptions or anything on the Hunter’s Notes, I don’t even know what my armor/weapons perks do or what benefits they have, I’m playing completely blind.

But today I found something that may help in finding the issue, that if you’re doing anything about it. The game since this problem began, has shown the missing text for half a second before starting. I tried booting the game and when the loading screen ended, immediately turned off my Wi-Fi, resulting in the text being still visible.

Once I turned back my Wi-Fi and the game fully loaded and connected, all the text disappeared, like always has been in this last 4 months.

It looks like it is a server-side issue, not from our devices, they show all text just fine but in the moment the game fully connects and loads, all text is gone. It’s not a compatibility issue or a device issue, and we’ve repeating this over and over with no success with you.

@NianticModKKI or any mod, can you please, please, send these new findings to the development team? That would help them to find the issue, knowing that is not from the client-side. Thank you very much.

So basically for a few months now the game has been extremely laggy and slow when I hunt solo and in group hunts. Text is blank in some of the story dialog, dates on top about events are blank, and even in the settings menu all text is missing. When the hunts start to lay the only way to kinda stop it is during mid hunt I have to drag down my top screen but it only stops the lag for a few a bit.

Only by pulling down my top screen stops it for a few seconds but I’m also playing on the lowest settings, updated to the latest version and also have the game assets downloaded. The game for me is almost unplayable

However, upon checking, it appears that the device you are using is not supported. (Moto G power 5G / CPU: Dimensity 930)
So we cannot provide official support, but as a first aid measure, please try clearing the cache and reinstalling the App.

After registering my account and getting into the game for the first time, all dialogues and popup windows are empty. This is completely unacceptable.

This only happens when you are in the animation of the story and adventure mode missions, the characters’ dialogues are not seen, but words highlighted in the green text are seen.
The same thing also happens in the settings menu, the text of the settings options are not visible.
Do you know if there is a way to fix this error?

It is not resolved yet that you restart the device or reinstall the game

Still dealing with it. Though i now have short video of how unprecedented it is when it shows up after startup. Maybe it has a solution You guys can make? I do not know.
Maybe if someone actually CARED it could be further addressed and investigated into.

We’ve checked the smartphone model you reported and it appears that the device you are using is not supported. (Moto g power 5G/Dimensity 7020)
Therefore, even if you were able to play Monster Hunter Now, it may not function properly.
