Thank you for reporting the problem that happened to you.
However, upon checking, it appears that the device you are using is not supported. (Tecno Camon 30 5G / CPU: DIMENSITY 7020)
So we cannot provide official support, but as a first aid measure, please try clearing the cache and reinstalling the App.

This is clearly an ongoing issue. It is not phone capability. Every since the new patch, this happened! Ludicrous to say that the processor is not compatible 7020. QA is lacking.

Playing Monster hunter now on a Moto G Power 2024. Already uninstalled and reinstalled MHN without success fixing the problem that no text is shown in the settings or several other menus in the game. I suspect maybe the Mediathek chipset (7020), because on my Pixel 8 and another phone with Qualcomm chip there are no problems like that.
Has anyone the same problems and were able to fix them.

Same for me on the Moto G Power 2024. Already reinstalled. Game is updated as the device. Android 14. Mediathek 7020

I tried clearing cache, reinstalling the app, changing font settings, font size and font type, changing from dark mode to light mode and there’s no change. This is obviously a general error, there’s many people complaining here, in Reddit and in Google Play Store’s reviews, not something about CPUs not being supported.

Also, I want to back my claim against MediaTek Dimensity 7020 not being a compatible CPU, when it’s comparable to a Snapdragon 855 or even better in some respects (ej. using DDR5 instead of DDR4 for faster loading times). The game’s performance is perfectly fine at medium settings, even at high settings with minor slowdowns.

I truly believe, as many people in this forum, this isn’t a problem about the CPU or incompatibility, it is about an error in the game, introduced during the Halloween update that has been affecting people for about two weeks and needs to be solved.

Update v88.0 and the text is still missing.

@NianticModKKI please, we would like an update on the matter, will Niantic consider fixing this error? I want to be part of this community, but the game isn’t working properly, and there isn’t a sign this will change in the future.

It is now day 21. The text issue still persists, and it seems that no one at the team is willing to look into the problem fully to try to improve the situation. It really feels as if I’m being told “Well, sucks to suck. Get over it” more or less and there’s literally nothing i could’ve done differently to avoid it.

Is this really a niche issue?
