The slaying emblems are difficult to acquire when monsters are appearing at higher levels for some players. It should be balanced to reflect the level of the monster hunted. I propose making a point system to where hunting monsters at certain difficulties give you a number of points that would fill a gauge. Once the guage is full you’ll receive an emblem and the spare points would be added in the count of the next guage.
現状/Current Status
Slaying monsters by quantity is hard to manage when playing on a higher field level.
By right, one should be striving to work towards being able to hunt high difficulty monsters as they progress in both equipment and monster familiarity, improved strategies, and better equipment. Following this continuous improvement methodology, the acquisition rate of Slaying Emblems become constant regardless of the level you’re playing at because the average strength of monsters on the field is distributed at a certain rate across the entire world and thus should give a consistent slaying progression, assuming the spawns are evenly balanced wherever you are (which is not the case and is thus a separate topic that cannot be discussed in the same breath with this topic on Slaying Emblem acquisition).
There are players who are routinely slaying any and all monsters on the field, 10-star included. Adopting this system would only speed up their gathering of slaying emblems since they can clear the 10-stars already while it doesn’t make it really any faster for you if you’re not at that point of progression yet.
It may be worse if they make it so that you now have to slay more low-strength monsters just to get a Slaying Emblem compared to existing mechanism.
And how do you balance between players at different difficulty unlocks? Are 6-star players going to have to slay more than 10x 6-star monsters just to get one Slaying Emblem?
Or are you okay with 10-star players slaying less than 10x 10-stars to get a Slaying Emblem?
If you have a concrete way of balancing how such a system could work across players of all difficulty, please describe it so that it becomes clearer and not leave it up to the developers’ interpretation (which often isn’t what the suggester wanted anyway, which defeats the point of making such posts in the first place since the post isn’t descriptive enough).
