提案/Suggestion
I wish to propose the followings to tackle the mentioned problems:
-
Special certification quest that requires the player to defeat 5 times (Urgent Quest), the scaled down version of the specified HaT / EDI 8-Star monster in solo mode. The HP of this scaled down version should be at least 25% of the original one, but its Attack Power and moves should be the same. If the player did not complete this quest, the 8-Star HaT / EDI will not be available on the map. This is to ensure all players who are going to participate in 8-Star HaT / EDI are able to fight properly and well equipped to deal enough damage to slay the monster in a group hunt of 4 players.
-
If a player is knock out, and did not use recovery items within 5 seconds, they will not receive any rewards or lesser rewards, after the hunt
-
A benchmark quantification of the number of hits and total damage expected per player should be determined by the management (this should takes into account, the different weapons and minimum grade required to slay the monster based on a full party of 4 players using the full length of the hunt. Consideration factor on equivalent hit count and damage should include hunt when there are players who are able to solo / duo the monster, particpating in the hunt). If any player does not meet minimum 80% of the benchmark, then this player will not receive any rewards, or lesser rewards after the hunt.
Proposal 2 and 3 might be too harsh or difficult to implement, but it is meant to tackle players who do not use recovery items and players who are are doing too little damage, be it they are under equipped or well equipped.
I think if problem 1, 2 and 3 can be resolved or at least minimized, problem 4 should, be reduced as well, unless it is due to other reasons, such as breaking parts, loss connection, etc. which can be dealt with separately.
現状/Current Status
In view of many arguments and complains for HaT and EDI, I can briefly summarize the following points:
-
Under-equipped - players that are not equipped to deal at least 25% of the monster HP or get one hit knockout by the monster
-
Under-damage - players that are sufficiently equipped but are not dealing enough damage (minimum 25% of the monster’s HP) to defeat the monster
-
Not recovering after been knock out by the monster
-
Leaving the hunt midway
Point 1 and 2 may not be actual case, since the current gameplay does not show the equipped weapon’s grade and total damage dealt by each player, so here I am assuming it is true.
