ただの雑談所part2 /Chit-chat part2

I forgot that I had been thinking “I’ll just aim for the Fury while I’m at the 1.5x multiplier…”. Oh right, the mutation materials didn’t double after all…

If getting more stars means getting more Rank 6 monsters, I’ll just fill everything up to 10 stars.

Thanks a lot!

Negative content goes here

I got this message in some social game

If you keep at MHN, stuff like this… doesn’t happen, lol

For some reason, it’s on the forum. (There are no rewards other than the badge.)

Looking at this, I just realized I haven’t heard the phrase “carnival weapons and armor” lately.

It’s kind of outdated for the current meta, right?

The Paralysis Heavy Bowgun is also getting better lately, and we’re taking mutations into account now.

Plus, you’ve got the Jana waist, and the chest piece just doesn’t get used anymore in a standard build.

Stage Jewel means it’s a Deredo, right?

I was thinking “seriously, a Mitsune in a Big Chain Hunt got defeated without even its tail broken?!” when

I ended up getting 3 pieces of its scale from both the normal rewards and the group hunt rewards.

Thanks, everyone :face_blowing_a_kiss:

The Tropical Cannon on a Sleep Gun feels underwhelming, even when you score a sleep with the gun itself… I wish they’d release a special version of the Dragon’s Breath Cannon that hits on a single shot.

I’d also like the previous event weapons to be able to reach MAX mutation enhancement :folded_hands: Some of the designs are really nice too :musical_note:

Mitsune wanted to make a bunch of stuff, so I bought Field Hunt tickets for two days even though I don’t normally buy them.

Total large monster kills: ~1500

53 Mitsune Mutations (only doubled when pulling 2 at a time)

I haven’t used a single Grand Hunt ticket on Mitsune since regular Mitsune was introduced, but it looks like I’m on track to complete it all

Hunting in the torrential rain was tough, but it was a good purchase.

Addendum: Maybe from all the hunting, I got used to it, and I’ve been able to take them down much more smoothly (lol)

That Grade 10… just how many Tamachans did you have to hunt to get it?

Won’t you end up as a Phantom set yourself?

Even though it’s limited to rail lines, did you narrow down the routes in a general way?
I don’t happen to use the trains for my daily commute or school runs, but I think it would be helpful whenever I do end up riding the trains.

Programmatically, I guess it’s something like: once the train’s speed falls within the allowed range, the speed restriction is lifted. That said, I think this is a pretty big improvement.

Slow → walking or bicycle, so it’s playable

Fast → car, so it’s restricted

Super fast → train, so it’s playable

I think

If it’s moderately fast, it’ll probably be restricted

I’m wondering what would happen to the subway with the rail area settings.
I mean, since it’s underground, the GPS will probably be all over the place… but I guess you’ll just have to ride it and see.

Being able to play during your commute or while in school (or actually, on your way home) is probably a nice improvement.

And should you actually play? Part of me says “I want to sleep,” but since I’m in a dead-end rural village right now, there’s not much of a rush anyway.

Still, I do think it’s a solid improvement.

Huh? Hold on a sec.
Style change is +30×2=60.
Parameter change is +40×3=120.
And there are three of those… 360.

That means I need tickets for 420 Mutations.

Massive gives 80 a day, so 3 days gets 240,
and I need to line up the remaining 180 in two weeks. Well, I can do that.

Every time a single Tamamitsune shows up during a mass outbreak, a rare style ticket cutscene plays, and it’s giving me a headache.

As always… watch out, will you!
