On the uploaded image, there is a traversable road with neighborhoods all around. So far it’s only been an empty space with no monsters visibly there unless I randomly walked about.

Is there a way for this to be resolved in the future, or is this intended?

It is not a private area, nor is it closed off. It has been like this upon game release. It appears on GPS.

If need be, I can say what the road is…

Though I’m wondering if there is a specific Mod person or Section where sharing a location name is pretty much private.

これ、逆もありますよね〜

こんなところに道なんかないよ〜ってとき。

ガサ藪でとても通れるところじゃなくて、野生のリアルモンスターに出会いそうなところがこのゲームでは道になっていたりして。

道路の改良や廃線が全く反映されてない感じです。

道路や施設の状況は日々刻々と変化しているのですから、マップも定期的にアップデートするべきだと思います。
(ベースとなっているマップがある筈で、そちらのアップデートを反映すればいいだけだと思うのですが、難しいのでしょうか)
