You could have menu separate from the layered equipment menu, and have it where a loadout has a slot for each weapon type.

I understand that this will take a while and that you might want to first get the Insect Glaive in the game before doing layered weapons, I’m patient and the game is still fun.

Edit: I’ve seen your comments and thought of a solution. There can be the element/ailment symbol next to the weapon symbol that the hunter has equipped, like this. :dagger::fire:

Without the ability to actually see which weapon a hunter is using, I’m not in favour of having layered weapons in this game.

Should be great if we can switch weapons skins like we change the armor or outfits.
Some weapons are great in stats but kind of ugly :confounded_face:

Without concrete information on what strangers are bringing into group hunts, allowing weapon skins at this point will only make the general hunting experience with remote hunters worse.
