Am I the only one experiencing a need for extra Ultra Hunt tickets despite having purchased the special Huntathon unlimited event ticket?

Thank you for your report regarding the Special Hunt-a-thon Ticket.

We would like to let you know that the Special Hunt-a-thon Ticket has the following bonuses and there will be a cooldown after joining Elder Dragon Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons.

• In Hunt-a-thons, only Astalos will appear.
• The access range will be expanded by 50% at all times, and you will get double the materials from slaying small monsters and from gathering points.
• Take on limited-time quests.

I understand the standard bonuses listed, but my issue is specifically about the cooldown for the event monster. As shown in the screenshot, I am being required to use an Ultra Hunt Ticket to enter the nearby Astalos HAT. Does the paid Event Ticket not waive the cooldown/ticket cost for the featured monster? If I am still restricted by cooldowns, I am confused about the purpose of the Event Ticket, as I expected it to allow unlimited participation.

Hi @bpasu, the red word “Unlimited” is referring to “unlimited purchases of the tickets”, not “Limitless access to Hunt-a-thons”, as what you’ll find on a Seasonal Hunt ticket for introduction of a new Elder Dragon. If you look at a Season Hunt ticket, it will say “One time only” instead of “Unlimited” in that line, because you can only buy the Seasonal Hunt ticket once, compared to being able to buy any or all of the Special Hunt-a-thon Tickets (one for each day). If you look at the effects of the Special HAT Ticket, it does not mention anything about limitless access to HATs or no cooldowns.

Hi @NianticModKKI, this “unlimited” wording is confusing users. Please change it: Either make it more specific e.g. “Once per day” or just remove it entirely

Thanks @Stampeder for clarifying. That makes sense, considering the price was such a bargain. But honestly, I still feel scammed. The wording is extremely misleading.
