Hi!
I remember that foliage would appear in the rift around monsters a few updates ago, now that monsters no longer have that '“rift” effect where the biome follows them on the map the foliage is gone too. I am wondering if there is any interest in adding the foliage and other decorations back to the GPS map.
I am sure many people had gripes with the performance issues that they caused for some people.
it never gave me any issues and i think it made the map look much more unique an less barren than now. I was wondering if it could be added back as an option in the menu…
If there is no plan of restoring the map visuals, let me know!
現状/Current Status
I attached an image of the game as it is now, and then an old screenshot I found of when there was foliage decorating the map near where monsters were found.
I feel that the cactus, trees, etc. made the mao look for less barren than making having just the flat texture for every biome span the whole map with no added details.
