Fixed in v84: The driftsmelting device SFX is still playing on the field map when going back to the Driftsmelting screen from the driftsmelt completion screen and then exit to the field map

Steps

  1. Start a driftsmelt with any driftstone/driftgem and armor piece.
  2. Complete the driftsmelt process and proceed to view the driftsmelt result.
  3. From the driftsmelt result screen, tap the new button to return to the driftsmelt menu.
  4. Choose another driftstone/driftgem and start the driftsmelt process.
  5. Exit to the field map.
  6. Observe that the driftsmelt device pressure cooker sound effect is still playing while on the field map.

Expected

  1. The driftsmelt device sound effect should stop playing upon leaving the driftsmelt menu or when selecting another driftstone/driftgem that is not being driftsmelted.

  • The sound effect is stopped once another sound effect is played, such as the high speed warning prompt sound effect.
  • The issue can be resolved by restarting the app.

Hi @NianticModKKI, please find the video as attached. You’ll need to listen to the video as the SFX will be audible in the last 5 seconds of the video. I sped up the front part of the video so as to reduce the file size.
