I may have screwed up the adventure sync toggle where I can not even reapply it due to my phone not requesting my permission to do so.

Hi, this is a known issue and you just need to enable the permission first before enabling it in the game (the game should auto-enable for you once it finds that the permission is granted, but re-toggle to be safe):

Adventure Sync cannot be enabled if Location Permission is not set to "Allow all the time" manually via system settings
