シーズンパスの報酬(ティア100以上)の報酬ですが、
任意の重ね着を1つ自由に選べる
が有ると、モチベーション上がります。

あと、スクールは、貰っても使わないです。

確かに、重ね着のアバターをもう少しセンスの良いものにして欲しいです。
もしくはコスプレに使えるものにして欲しいですね。

Well, if the „poor“ get more rewards for playing the same amount, they will also get richer, or not?

Of course I want to reward someone who is playing more with more items/zenny, that’s the whole point of the tiers after 100.

If there are people who can „push tiers really fast“ they ofc deserve more rewards in my opinion.

And it is not that I want the pass after 100 to be the biggest item income ever. Just increase it a bit.

I’m with Stampeder on this one. 100 is supposed to be the end state. If you reach 100, you’re done. I think the UI should be redesigned to not give off the appearance of having 1000 tiers, and should instead be something much closer to Final Fantasy XIV’s PVP battle pass system where the final repeating tier has only a single entry that stores a value for the number of times you’ve hit it without claiming. While I would like a little bit more than 300z per tier, it is entirely reasonable, and adding higher levels of rewards beyond 100 is going to alienate and cause anxiety among players more than it will actually help anyone.

I have to play more xiv PvP, haven’t noticed that. Ye, I’m with you on this one. The reason of season pass is dependent on its finity and everything higher than whatever tier is deemed as being done is purely so that the bar always go up and you get your shot of whatever happiness hormone your brain runs on. But it has to be finite and (if it’s done correctly) achievable by your average Joe playing for a couple of hours even now and then. Breaking that will ultimately make people quit and no amount of “I want more rewards cause I play more” will change that

Okay, let’s tinker with this awful idea

Let’s say that you are able on average to get to tier 200. That’s 10 shards per season (quite a lot, way more than you get from regular rewards, but whatever). Now for some reason, there is a season that you are barely able to scrape by to tier 100. Would you be upset that you have missed on your 10 free shards? Would you think its unfair cause you weren’t able to hunt as much as someone who pushed his way to 200 or beyond just because he has more time and therefore more opportunity to play? Would you feel being left behind because those 10 shards sure as Plesioth were used on gear and you couldn’t get those?

Do you see already why it’s a bad idea to begin with?

Rich getting richer is the worst progression point you can possibly achieve. It divides your player base between people who can get essentially solo the game and bunch of bright eyed newbies that will play for like a week, realise the entire game is a scam unless you get boosted by the 1% (or pony up Dosh) and quit. What follows is either increased discrepancy, cause after Saturday night players quit it’s the regulars turn to suffer, which in turns reflects on stuff being sold for premium and the entire game devolves into wallet wars or the game goes under and dies in agony. So essentially the dark side of capitalism but in game form. And that’s the premiere league version of pants, cause if you have weaker season, due to any form of unrelated incident, you are going straight into the death zone

I feel that right now their season tier rewards are just nice.

I consider myself a casual player. To define it operationally, I still hunt as much as I can, but I won’t necessarily go out and hunt everyday or even during events, unless I am already out and about and will just hunt along the route that I am already travelling on. At the minimum, on my busiest of days, I will just clear the daily quests.

As long as we clear the 3 daily quests and any event quests, there’s really no difficulty in earning all 100 tiers within the season itself.

The additional zenny reward beyond T100 is just a little bit of “tick”, not so much as a carrot.

I like the idea of simply listing only the first 100 tiers with distinct rewards and then compressing the T101+ tiers into just a repeating tier instead of the current UI display which displays all 999 tiers with 899 of them being identical to each other.

This gives a better signalling to humans that whatever is beyond T100 are “optional” or “unimportant”, and it will have to be from within the human themselves to want to feel that T101+ are important to them (at which point it doesn’t matter what you do—they’re simply self-driven). Let the humans drive themselves while the UI don’t encourage or goad that behaviour actively.

On this topic, we can group players into 3 types:

  1. Players who will find out what’s the bare minimum and just do enough (e.g. sees that T100 is the last unique reward and just work hard to T100 and then slow down).
  2. Players who will find out what’s the maximum and work towards it (e.g. finds out that max tier is 999 and will plan and work towards it).
  3. Players who work towards whatever they see in the game (e.g. plan and work towards whatever the game design showns them).

It’s the 3rd type of players that the game designers have to be careful in how they present various aspects of the game as that can have a lasting impact on these players, for better or for worse. Everyone has a social responsibility, not to mention for products and services that have a broad reach.

This is actually a nice approach. I mean, there must be a lot of players that scrolled through the whole 999 tiers just to confirm that there is nothing more left (me included haha).

With that ui redesign I would be happy with it.

I might hit tier 300 this season which is ~40k zenny (with the premium plan) which one could argue is a lot, but to be fair, the last qualilis quest gave us 30k by itself.

So maybe increase it a bit, or maybe just leave it with 100. but the redesign would eliminate the fomo a irregular pass could cause.

現状/Current Status

シーズン1のティア100以上の報酬もシャボかったが、シーズン2も同様にゼニーだけ。。
課金すれば5の倍数ごとにこれまたシャボい素材が10個もらえるだけ。

Adding upgrade materials in the game pass after passing tier 100.

Just an idea about adding weapon and armor refining parts to the pass on like every 50th or 100 tier after finishing the first 100 tiers. And or wyvern gem shards. Just to make tier lv more worth it for people who pass 100.

I would like to choose to get more items instead of the dull layered clothing that is added in the season pass. The layered clothing is too bland and uninteresting. It might also be nice if the layered clothing that is part of the season pass is a bit more interesting to go for like the shirt in the ayase collaboration video
