Wide gunlance improvements

Wide gunlance is weaker than other gunlance types right now. It needs improvements:

  1. Increase basic damage and uncharged shell damage
  2. Increase special (SP) damage
  3. Make it better after a perfect dodge:
  • Other gunlance types benefit from perfect dodge:
    • Normal gunlance can perfect dodge → full burst.
    • Long gunlance can do instant charged shot
  • But for wide gunlance, perfect dodge feels bad:
    • It needs 3 shells to do a wyrmstake, which feels bad with it’s low ammo capacity
  • Suggestion: Allow wyrmstake after 1 perfect dodge shell + 1 uncharged shell OR have the perfect dodge shell flow into wyrmstake.

I agree, perfect dodge (and block) with wide gunlance does nothing for the weapon’s playstyle and sometimes it even makes it worse by delaying our big damage combos, to the point I’d rather not have perfect dodged at all. In a vacuum a “free” charged shot is ok damage but since it still consumes ammo it limits your future options, not to mention it also delays a wyrmstake if that was what you were planning to do.

Allowing the perfect dodge shell to combo into wyrmstake would be the best solution in my opinion. Another option is to make the extra shell from perfect dodge not count for the ammo limit like LBG perfect dodge reload.
