Weekly Hunts Display Confusion

Does anyone understand the purpose of the new Weekly Hunts UI element displayed on the loading screen? I don’t understand why we would want to see this on the loading screen and not somewhere more convenient like our guild card. I’m also not sure what it specifically represents.

Currently, notifications are being sent via email, but I suspect that they may be preparing to stop email notifications altogether as a measure for those who are not receiving them.

I don’t follow you.

Anybody else want to weigh in? I didn’t understand the last response except that if you’re telling me to read the patch notes, I already did before asking my questions. I’ve read them over a number of times and they didn’t answer any of the questions I have which is why I’m asking.

To get a little more granular with it, is it tracking large monsters killed during quests or all monster kills associated with a weekly quest? Does it total only your kills or the total kills of all players in your weekly group? What’s the time frame we’re tracking? Does it start from the point that this UI element was added or is it specific to a given week? And again, why are we showing this on the loading screen and not somewhere you can access on demand?

Maybe I’m overthinking it. Is it just your personal kills per week unrelated to the weekly quest? Is this something people were asking for? Genuinely just asking because I’m confused about what it represents and why it’s there.

It’s simply your personal number of kills for the week.
This feature is currently being sent via email to those who have opted in, as part of the “Monthly Report.”
Since some people are unable to receive it through that method, I believe they are trying a different implementation.

If you’d prefer it to be displayed somewhere else, I think you should submit a request yourself.

I’m not complaining about it. I only want to understand what it represents specifically and what inspired the change. I asked more questions to try to clarify because I didn’t understand what you were trying to explain in your first message. I’m opted in to email notifications but I’ve only received a few of those monthly reports so your saying that some people aren’t getting it tracks. I keep an eye on my spam folder and haven’t ever seen any of those reports filtered incorrectly to spam either.

I appreciate your explanation. I didn’t want to suggest any kind of change or improvement until I understood what it was. I searched the past improvement suggestions and found one similar that I was able to append a few additional ideas to.

I think it would be good to have these details in the guild card visible for yourself and other people but I don’t think it’s inappropriate to have it display on load, so I didn’t propose removing it there.

Well in pokemon go as long as you get a mission done you get a stamp and after a week you get a gift box I was hoping that you would be able to choose a single monster part to get from your favorite marked weapons or armor

I don’t think this is that kind of thing.
