My husband and i are new to the game and we found the last part of the quest for summer festival impossible to complete. It ask to defeat a 8 star. We together can maybe take a 6 star at are level and they wouldn’t even let us in the hunt the had it because it was to strong. Which i understand but if you are doing a quest like that shouldn’t there be an opportunity for the newer gamer to be able to atless to attempt the last part of the quest. Instead of trying to grind just to make the level cap to attempt to finish the quest and so short of time.

Ever since second season started challenge quests are for 8 
monsters for some reason. Beforehand 6 was the norm. It was definitely bumped up.
The only real advice, apart from nagging Niantic about this, is to attempt HaT containing monster in question in a public queue

If you get luxky you can get carried ive been playing since pre season i missed out on events a lot too till the hats got a gobal buff
