Overall Rough Goals
This time will definitely be Mizutsune-centric.
The runner-up crab is also appearing, so I think these two species are enough.
It’s fine if Uragaan isn’t seen.
There’s a weapon distribution in the summer event, but I think the Gunlance is weak in terms of firepower.
It’s hard to use unless it has pretty good skills.
I personally think the Rift Diablos is tough for ranged attacks.
Until we see how it goes, I predict a high hit rate for ranged attacks since Diablos’s range is its effective range.
I’m holding off on Tamaharvy, and just playing with the crab harvy; I’m planning a close-range 5-selection for this time (Doh is close-range! Insurance slot).
(Higher priority ↓ Lower priority)
- Prioritize Mizutsune weapons in all cases.
- I want to make the Mizutsune Dual Blades and Great Sword because they look cool. (I plan to use the Great Sword in Rift, and since Slashing is difficult, I want to use the Great Sword to get used to parrying as a preliminary step.)
- I’ll go all out to fully complete the Tropical Cannon! (Don’t forget last time’s Rose Grandpa.)
New Ecosystem Area
Season 11 hints at the implementation of a new ecosystem area.
And it’s almost certainly the “Volcanic Area.”
Uragaan (fake Barroth), Volcanos (fake Jyuratodus) seem likely to appear.
I don’t think it’s impossible for Brachydios to be the main monster.
After all, it’s a pack art monster, so I think the possibility is very high.
(Also, its weakness is Water element, and I only feel the flow of water.)
If that’s the case, will Rift be Fire, Explosion weakness, or something like that?
Anyway, I’m looking forward to it.
F's Pulse
Dragon Piercing Staff
Strike, Kick, Air, Transform
Dominate the hunting ground with a furious rush and diverse gimmicks
A Dragon Piercing Staff characterized by furious rushes unleashed from two staffs. It’s not just about attacking; it also has excellent offensive and defensive performance, allowing guards, jump dodges, and more. Additionally, a transformation function that changes reach is one of its major features.
Magnet Spike
A heavy weapon that masters magnetism, excelling in both slashing and striking
Attraction and repulsion, slashing and striking—its power finds a way out in any situation
By mastering magnetism and utilizing attraction and repulsion, it achieves movements so fast that they’re hard to imagine from its large, heavy appearance. By switching between slash form and strike form, it can deliver effective damage to monsters in any situation.
In my personal opinion, I don’t think MHF-Z’s unique weapon types will be implemented.
One reason is that MHF is an evolution based on DOS (2), while Now is World-based, and the development environments are too different, which is a problem.
There’s no compatibility between MHF and Now; bringing something from MHF would require rebuilding it from scratch for Now.
Having just a concept and original design is the same amount of work as making something new. (The concept will probably need to be reworked too, so it’s almost entirely new.)
Is it worth spending that much cost? I think it’s impossible for Now alone.
So, alone, it’s not possible.
That’s why I’m paying attention to,
“Monster Hunter Wilds” “Super” large-scale expansion content!!
“MONSTER HUNTER WILDS ASCENDANCE”
Yes!!
Honestly, I feel a sense of madness in the part where they add “Super” to just “Large.” I think only Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball should use “Super.”
In other words, could this insanely large expansion content break through the dimensional wall and bring the F lineage to the modern day!
And then some of that overflow to Now~
Hmm, well, almost none.
Even if F monsters appear, weapon types are too high a hurdle.
(I haven’t played either Wilds or MHF. But from watching videos, Wilds feels like a real robot while MHF feels like a super robot, so bringing a super robot into a real robot world would break the worldview. Well, there’s a theory that FF Cockroaches and Back-Extinction costumes were already breaking it, though.)
However, the madness part, or rather, makes me think “maybe!”
Keep an eye on Ascendence, scheduled for release in 2027!!
Beyond Styles
With the Lancebug Style being unlocked, all 14 types of Styles have now been unlocked.
Is that it?
No, no, surely it doesn’t end here.
Will new Style unlocks come?
Like a mobile game, I predict that styles with slight strength increases will continue to be implemented in the future.
I’ve considered various things like SP skill swapping elements, and it’s not impossible.
However, it would add more items and complexity, so I imagine the developers would want to avoid that.
In that case, I think it’s more likely they’ll just keep adding predetermined Styles, as it’s easier in terms of bugs and operations.
