Serious gps drifting problem when I’m being stationary, making the game almost unplayable to me. I am putting my phone at one place while the game kept moving me around and disabled me from playing for moving too fast.
The problem started yesterday with seemingly no reason and it never occurred before.
その他の情報/Other Information
I have tried from restarting the game to reinstalling the game but the problem still exists. My phone’s gps settings are all set as recommended and gps functions on other apps seems to be working just fine while the game still drifting non-stop.

From my understanding, MH Now simply uses the location which you phone has detected. To test this, open Apple Maps or Google Maps and see if your “location” matches that which is shown in MH Now. If so, it’s not MH Now altering your location or failing to accurately ascertain it.
Factors such as your phone model, your physical environment and location settings can affect the location ascertained by your phone. Turning on WiFi Scanning very significantly reduces drifting, in my experience.
Also, to elaborate on physical environment, if you are underground, or at a place with many tall buildings, the GPS signal tends to be less accurate than if you were at a flat and open landscape. So, take note of that.
My Google map gps is fine and very stable all this time, I have been cross checking with it with the game.

For that one, it’s true that the issue occurred in a building but I’ve been in the exact same building and same floor before without any issue for more than a month, then suddenly the gps started flying around since yesterday. Which is y I was sure it’s not my phone’s gps causing the problem.
Oh I see. There is still the possibility that certain settings—which helps determine location more accurately—were enabled for Google Maps but not for MH Now. For my phone, there is this setting called “Use precise location” that needs to be enabled on top of normal location access. “When previse location is off, apps can access your approximate location”. Just one thing that came to mind
I see. I’ve observed similar changes to my drifting patterns even in the same building too. But, only when I turn off Wifi Scanning. Do you have that setting turned on?
“Wi-Fi scanning: Allow apps and services to scan for Wi-Fi networks at any time, even when Wi-Fi is off. This can be used, for example, to improve location-based features and services.”
Additionally, there is also Bluetooth scanning, using the same concept. However, I have not seen its usefulness yet.
I have always kept the precise location option on for me and have checked my settings when the problem first occurred. I also make sure it’s on after reinstalling but still experiencing problem.
I have been searching online for solutions and have tried most options available online but nothing seems to work and I have no where to turn to.

I see, then I have just one last thing to suggest/ask. Are you connected to WiFi network or using mobile network? From my understanding, turning off Wifi Scanning AND connecting to a Wifi network would get my phone to use that network’s location. I have a small suspicion that perhaps your phone could be scanning multiple wifi networks with different locations (somehow) hence jumping back and forth. Turning wifi scanning off but connecting to one single network might resolve the issue if that is the case.
I don’t think there’s any option for wifi setting nor Bluetooth setting on my phone but I tried closing both WiFi and Bluetooth and use only mobile data.
It does reduce a bit of the drifting but it’s still not as stable as before.
