Request: Change the way the Trial Energy is displayed in Trial Quests

現状/Current Status

Currently, the Trial Energy is displayed in a way that slowly fills up the empty hearts as the Energy is recharged. However, when the time left is just e.g. 1 minute, it is not immediately clear whether it refers to the current heart (which looks completely full) or a new hear (which is completely empty).

It seems to me that the Trial Energy is just one continuous bar with 5 heart-shaped transparent image overlaid on top of them, similar to how the Elder Dragons’ HP works in EDIs.

This is not precise.

Addendum:
What is confusing is that, suppose that the Trial Energy shows 3 full hearts, it looks the same whether the timer is 9 minutes or 1 minute left. See:

提案/Suggestion

Please make it so that if a Heart (1 point of Trial Energy) is not available to use, make it completely empty. Only fill a heart when it can be used. There is already a timer below the Trial Energy gauge, so there is no need to use a continuously-filling red bar to represent the state of the Heart.

For example, wouldn’t it be easier to distinguish fully charged hearts if they had a frame around them?

Yeah, that is one way too. Basically, since the Trial Energy are in a way “discrete units”, in the sense that you can only use them as a whole and not in part, and that there is already a countdown timer to the next point of energy, there is no need to display the heart UI in a continuous bar format while overlaying a discrete heart image over the bar. This is just confusing.

Yeah make the fully charged heart gold and problem solved!

That’s true, color-coding is also one method.
