Instead of removing the Dimensional Link radius, change how the notification works

Create SEPARATE lists for local hunts and Dimensional Links. When you open the “Join Hunt!” menu, include separate tabs for local and dimensional hunts. This way, everyone will get what they want.
Alternatively, include separate buttons with a different sound for these hunts (such as a blue button for DLs and the typical orange for local hunts).

Dimensional Links can no longer be accessed from outside the access circle.

or put the icon for the DL hunt on the ‘join hunt’ button.

All they need is just to sort the normal group hunt invites above the DL invites. Don’t even need to have a separate list or change the UI entirely.
