HP bar should turn red from damage taken from poison and guarding. this would then restore over time but gets deducted when taking direct hit.

Love this idea. Recoverable health would make this potion system much more acceptable. The main series games refund all potions and hp when you quit a hunt, and I see no reason they don’t at least refund potions spent here other than to bleed us for money. They could even tweak abilities like resentment to activate for at least X seconds, OR as long as you are in recoverable health mode, making it more desirable and diversifying play methods.
