提案/Suggestion
Hello Niantic Team,
I participated in the Exploration Base beta and truly see the great potential of the feature. I appreciate the effort to bring a social and localized gameplay system to Monster Hunter Now. That said, I’d love to share some constructive suggestions based on my experience:
⸻
1. Reward Balance for Top Contributors
As someone who ranked highly (including rank 1) during the beta, I noticed that reward differences were minimal across all ranks. This reduced motivation to push for higher contributions.
Suggestion: Introduce tiered rewards based on rank or contribution milestones. Example:
• Rank 1: Exclusive cosmetic, higher material yield, or a unique item.
• Rank 2–5: Rare decor, Palico tickets, or additional zenny.
• Everyone else: Base rewards only.
⸻
2. Limited Interactivity
The base felt a bit too passive once contributions were done. I hoped for more ways to engage with it.
Suggestions:
• Add interactive features like Palico Missions, Daily Requests, or Base Quests unlocked by contribution levels.
• Allow us to customize the base name/look, creating a sense of guild-like ownership.
• Introduce co-op base events (e.g. defense waves or special monster invasions tied to base level).
⸻
3. Range of Base Influence
Sometimes, I was slightly far from the base due to real-world obstacles or safety (like crossing a busy road), but I still wanted to hunt in that area.
Suggestion:
• Allow players to interact with or hunt within a small radius (~200m) around the base.
• Or introduce a Base Signal Booster item (temporary or permanent) that extends access range.
⸻
4. Recognition and Motivation
It would be amazing if there were base-specific medals or stat tracking to recognize long-term contributors.

Thanks for listening to the community. I’m excited for the next iteration of Exploration Bases. With some balancing and added interactivity, this could become one of MHNow’s most engaging features.
