If I lowered the difficulty od the story quest’s Emergency hunt monsters from
7 to 6, is there a way to reset your current story quest line back to the 7 star? Or do you have to complete it once you lower the difficulty?

Once the difficulty of a story quest is lowered, it cannot be returned to its pre-changed difficulty level without completing that lap.
